Debbie joined the firm in 2016 and currently spearheads the Business Development & Alliance Team in the firm. She is admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore and is a Legal Associate under the Real Estate Practice as well as the Legacy Planning Division.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of Exeter in 2014. She then obtained a distinction in a Master of Laws in International Business and Commercial Law from the University of Manchester in 2015, where she demonstrated solid skills in research and writing in her dissertation on the Principles and Practice of Corporate Governance.

Presently, Debbie predominantly deals with Real Estate matters and has acted as lead counsel for local and offshore banks including UOB Bank, OCBC Bank, Maybank, Citibank, CIMB Bank, HSBC Bank, OCBC Bank, as well as the CPF Board, advising them on all the legal aspects of real estate transactions. She has also acted as lead counsel for individuals and companies in real estate transactions, such as, Sale and Purchase of properties, sub-sale of properties, purchasing of properties on trust, part purchase transactions including decoupling and transfer of property pursuant to court order, refinancing and redemption of mortgage loans.

Her Real Estate practice also extends to Collective Sales, where she has assisted the Partners in the drafting of the Collective Sale Agreements and Tender documents, advising the Collective Sale Committee, the Subsidiary Proprietors and the Property Consultants.

In addition, Debbie has also developed a practice in Legacy Planning such as the drafting of wills, lasting powers of attorney, estate administration and the setting up of trusts.

As the Head of the Business Development & Alliance Team, she actively engages in business development work such as forming and maintaining close business relationships with business partners through networking events and converting new leads to clients.

Debbie’s efficient and enthusiastic attitude extends beyond her work. She is active in grassroots participation where she is a member of the Community Development & Welfare Fund Committee at the Ulu Pandan Community Centre and volunteers in conducting weekly home visits to provide assistance to needy residents.
