Debbie joined the firm in 2016. She is admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore and is a Partner in the Real Estate Practice as well as the Legacy Planning Division. Since 2021, Debbie has been an active member in the Conveyancing Practice Committee, Law Society of Singapore.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of Exeter in 2014. She then obtained a distinction in a Master of Laws in International Business and Commercial Law from the University of Manchester in 2015.

Presently, Debbie predominantly deals with Real Estate matters and is well versed in real estate transactions, such as, Sale and Purchase of properties, sub-sale of properties, purchasing of properties in trust, part purchase transactions including part-purchase and transfer of property pursuant to court order, refinancing and redemption of mortgage loans as well as equity term loans.

The Real Estate transactions that Debbie handles ranges from residential, commercial and industrial developments. She has represented individual retail clients, corporations and financial institutions. The firm’s portfolio of foreign clients is directly under Debbie’s care and she often advises foreign clients on their property transactions in Singapore. Apart from foreign clients, Debbie’s forte also lies in advising Singaporean clients on restructuring their property portfolio in relation to Legacy and Wealth Planning.

Her Real Estate practice also extends to Collective Sales, where she has assisted the Partners in the drafting of the Collective Sale Agreements and Tender documents, advising the Collective Sale Committee, the Subsidiary Proprietors and the Property Consultants.

In addition, Debbie has also developed a practice in Legacy Planning such as the drafting of wills, lasting powers of attorney, power of attorney, estate administration and the setting up of trusts.

Debbie frequently gives presentations and talks on all aspects of Real Estate Law as well as Legacy Planning. She has been invited by Real Estate Developers and Real Estate Companies to give talks and seminars on legal matters conducted in Singapore.
